About me
Dr. Chandra Lebenhagen is the founder and Executive Director of Including Autism. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Learning from the University of Calgary. For over 20 years, she has worked as a teacher and inclusion consultant in K-12 settings and instructs graduate-level courses at several Canadian universities. Dr. Chandra is the author of several peer-reviewed publications, including the book Autism and Inclusive Education: A Guide for Teachers, Practitioners and Parents. She offers informative presentations and in-school support on various topics using a multi-disciplinary perspective, including critical disability theory, learning theory, and evidence-based practices to support neurodiverse children in "real world" classrooms.
